TARA Centre for Child Development & Rehabilitation

About TARA

Rehabilitation is more than a therapy session.

TARA Centre for Child Development & Rehabilitation is a multidisciplinary rehabilitation centre supporting children and adults across different stages of life.

15 Yearsof professional experience

About TARA

Different people. Different goals. One purpose — meaningful progress.

With 15 years of professional experience, our focus is not simply on providing therapy. We take time to understand the individual's abilities, challenges, daily routine and goals before deciding what support may be most helpful.

Our qualified professionals work together wherever required, helping create a more connected rehabilitation experience for the individual and their family.

For a child

Progress may mean communicating a need, participating in school, improving movement, becoming more independent or managing everyday activities with greater confidence.

For an adult recovering from a stroke or neurological condition

It may mean improving mobility, communication and daily functioning, or gradually returning to a more independent life.

Why TARA?

Because good rehabilitation starts with understanding.

At TARA, we don't believe in putting every individual through the same routine. Our approach is built around a few simple principles.

15

Years of Experience

Professional experience that helps us understand rehabilitation from both clinical and practical perspectives.

Evidence-Based, Individualised Care

We use evidence-based rehabilitation approaches and adapt them according to individual abilities, needs, progress and functional goals.

Rehabilitation Across the Lifespan

Qualified Professionals

Care delivered by professionals trained in their respective areas of rehabilitation.

Multidisciplinary Approach

When an individual needs support from more than one discipline, professionals can work towards connected goals rather than isolated therapy plans.

Individualised Care

Therapy goals are planned according to the person's abilities, needs and priorities.

Family Involvement

Families are an important part of rehabilitation. We encourage understanding, participation and practical guidance.

Functional Goals

Progress should have meaning outside the therapy room. We focus on abilities that can make a difference in everyday life.

Different expertise. Connected care. Meaningful progress.

  1. 01Understand first.
  2. 02Treat thoughtfully.
  3. 03Work together.

Dr. Tejjesh and Dr. Yamini believe rehabilitation works best when professionals, individuals and families are moving towards the same meaningful goals.

Whether the journey involves a child's development, communication difficulties, recovery after stroke, an orthopaedic condition or returning to sport, the focus remains on the person — not simply the diagnosis.

Because at TARA, progress isn't only something we measure. It's something we help people experience in everyday life.

Behind TARA

Good clinical care begins with listening.

Behind TARA is a team of qualified professionals from different areas of rehabilitation.

Our professionals work with individuals and families to understand concerns, explain findings in understandable language and develop realistic rehabilitation goals.

Families shouldn't leave an assessment with more confusion than when they arrived. They should leave with clarity about what comes next.

Our Space

Designed for rehabilitation. Created for people.

The environment in which therapy happens matters.

TARA has been developed to provide a welcoming, organised and professional rehabilitation environment for children, adults and their families. Our spaces are designed around different therapeutic needs while maintaining a comfortable atmosphere where individuals and families can feel at ease.
